How to Increase Web Site Traffic You may have a site professional in apperance and offer a great product or service. But how do you put this great website to work as your 24/7 sales agent? First, you have to get traffic to your site! Then, you have to convert them into customers. It's really not as difficult as it sounds. But there is definitely a strategy to it. That's where I can help and the results of my work can quite possibly pay for itself in a short amount of time. You are aware that the majority of web searches come from Google, and believe that if you could only get a first page listing, when someone searches for your product/service, you would get increase visitors and increased sales. Well maybe. I say that because getting visitors and turning them into customers are two different processes. But I'll get to that in a moment. The first page listing. You can hire a search engine optimization company and they may be able to assist you in getting a higher listing, then again they may not. You should use a lot of caution when making this decision. There is no "silver bullet" solution to this problem. In many cases it could take months or years to improve your listing, and no one can guarantee a first page listing on Google. There are after all, only some many possible positions on a front page. So what to do? Google Ad Words to the Rescue! Google is not a billion dollar company by mistake. Have you ever wondered how could a company that started as basically a search engine have so much value? How can they produce revenue from a free search service? Well yes, the search if free but being found isn't. The revenue generator for Google are "Keywords"! Imagine you sold shoes, and each time someone searched using the keyword shoes your business ad was displayed on the top listing on the first page! The traffic to your site would go thru the roof! With Google AdWords campaigns you can do just that. But now for some reality. To make that happen you would need to pay/bid a very high amount for the keyword, shoes. That could possibly cost you $5.00 to $10.00 per click to your site, and what happens if 1000 clicks results in 10 purchases? Unless you were selling shoes that cost $5,000 a pair you could go thru your advertising budget in a flash! What to do? First don't assume everyone that is looking for shoes, will use shoes as a search word. They may search for; boots, hi heels, pumps, doc martins, loafers, etc. The important concept to remember is this. Many times you can get a low bid price on a keyword that relates to your product or service that is not so obvious. Finding these keywords, setting bids for those, comparing results, tweeking your ads, and tracking traffic, making adjustments to your Google marketing campaign is what your Google Adwords campaign manager does. This is the service I offer. Your advertising budget limited? No problem there, Google allows you set a daily budget as low as $5.00 per day. When the budget is reached, your ads stop running until the next day. You or your AdWords person can easily raise or lower this budget, change bids on on keywords, track how they are converting, write new ads, view traffic to your site and continually change the campaign to make if more effective. In addition I check the landing page of your website or any page where a visitor will make a decision to purchase and make edits to the content of this page with the goal of writing ad copy that produces results when your visitors read it. If you want to stay competitive with your online marketing campaign you must consider Google Ad Words! Don't fall behind and let your competitors get an edge on you. Even as you read this they may be running Google Ads and taking your business!
